Passport Validity
Most travelers to the United Kingdom will need a passport. Citizens traveling domestically will need a government-issued photo ID (but traveling with a passport is also encouraged).
Your passport must:
Must be valid at least six months after arrival
Needs at least two blank pages for stamps
If you are transiting through other countries, they may have additional passport requirements.
Passport Processing Times:
Check your country's requirements to allow sufficient time for processing. Expedited options may be available at an additional cost.
Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)
All travelers (except United Kingdom citizens) will need an ETA for travel to the United Kingdom.
Visas
In addition to an ETA, visa-required countries must apply for a visa before travel. Entry requirements vary significantly based on citizenship and travel routes.
Visa-exempt countries will only need an ETA for travel.
Some countries require you to apply to leave your country. If your country requires an appointment, schedule your appointment now.

- The name on your passport must exactly match the name on your airline ticket, including any middle name or initial.
- Check requirements for your travel route, as countries vary in their blank page requirements for entry.
